The Costumes
Frieda Vizel

Frieda Vizel left the Hasidic community, the Modern Orthodox community and the Formerly Orthodox (OTD) community. She now lives in Pomona and is actively looking for a new community to leave. She deals with the perplexities of the communities she left by drawing cartoons about them, a habit that gets her into an excellent amount of trouble.
Great! Cha cha cha! even a Clown understands that an Hasidic Costume is obvious.
Don’t miss to realize that he’s in middle of sliding down of the Derech. He keeps a Computer suitcase in his hands.
ha ha! this is a good one like all your stuff shpitzele ( and I wish that one they you gana start blogging again your shpitzele shtrimpkind blog tottaly changed me!!)
Gavayn frim — aw, thank you! I couldn’t be more moved than when I hear that I somehow affected someone else’s journey.
About blogging again… eh… it’s too taxing…
ok i guess i gana have to wait until the day is gana come and you will decide to write a book about your chasidish satmer life journery (which by the way i am still in this chasidish satmer life but in the inside of my heart i am tottaly off the derech)
My guess is that the number of people like you is higher than the number of people who are off the derech openly.
O shpitzele i wish you can give me some advice how to get openly otd like you did!
Shpitzle Shtrimpkind: you just guess, but as I got informed the last few days there are “much much” more people who are Off The Derech behind the scene then those who are openly otd. I even directed a few of them to join “Footsteps” the only thing is that we can’t read someone else’s toughts.
Upstate, the only thing Footsteps teaches is how to use vulgar, profane and obscene language without having your toes curl up. The people who are OTD secretly have, in their minds, their cake and are eating it, too. The people who go openly off the derech simply figure they have less to lose and more to gain. The people who stay on the derech are happy with their lives as is, and they sincerely believe in Toirah MeSinai. IMHO.
