On Cheese-and-Dairy parties

Who could turn down cheese yodels and milk-chocolate balls and cheesecake and really warm and sweet kreplech with buttery crumbs on top? That’s what we get for accepting the Torah. They bribed us. And with flowers too. What a romantic divine, courting us and wooing us in. To that I say “I’ll do and I’ll hear and I’ll eat too”. Bring it on.

Happy Cheesecake Time!

On Cheesecake

Frieda Vizel

Frieda Vizel left the Hasidic community, the Modern Orthodox community and the Formerly Orthodox (OTD) community. She now lives in Pomona and is actively looking for a new community to leave. She deals with the perplexities of the communities she left by drawing cartoons about them, a habit that gets her into an excellent amount of trouble.
